From a solo trip made to Badlands National Park in South Dakota in 2016. I arrived very early and waited for the early light of the day, just before sunrise. I could only hear the sounds of the grasses blowing in the breeze. It was peaceful and calming, and not a soul in sight.
The Badlands were created over millions of years from ancient river channels, oceans, erosion and deposits. This park's 244,000 acres contain one of the world’s richest fossil beds. Today it's a mixed-grass prairie where bison, bighorn sheep, prairie dogs, and black-footed ferrets live.
This print may be available in larger sizes and framing options. Please Contact Me for more information.
